Weirdly familiar . . . ?

Okay . . . another fire?!?!? Are you freaking KIDDING ME?!?!?!? I have just about had enough of this whole "fires-burning-down-San-Diego-lets-evacuate-for-a-week-end-of-the-world" pizazz. No, really. I've had enough. Did we not have ENOUGH fun last year around the EXACT same time? (No seriously, we evacuated on October 22 of last year for the previous years' fires.) But if you want to hear something really freaky, well here it is. Last year, around this time, me and my parents got on this little Harry Potter movie kick where we were watching all of the old HP movies in a row (i.e., Sorceror's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, etc.) In fact, the night before we evacuated I stayed up till about 11 o'clock watching Prisoner of Azkaban because it had been announced that we had no school the next day. Well, my mom and I just started watching Chamber of Secrets last night, and I only just realized that. I seriously have cursed SoCal in its entirety.

Not that I'm not totally psyched about it, what with the failing economy and all. Oh, you know what the best part was? Watching George Dubya fly over our city in a helicopter, saying he was helping the citizens when really he just delayed us an entire DAY of getting into our homes. God bless him!
