Dentists Suck.

That's right, ladies and gentlemen. I officially have my first root canal. Well, I'm going to GET a root canal DONE on my tooth . . .it's second from the end in the top left hand side of my mouth.

So, in order to prepare, I found this detailed look into what I'm going to have to go through, and how sorry you guys are going to have to feel for me.



Wanna hear the worst part? They aren't putting me under. I have to stay awake the whole time. I had a cavity filled in two weeks ago (the tooth had started to ache, which was how I went into the dentist, where they told me I needed a root canal) and that was probably a half-hour. By the time it was over, I'd had to keep my mouth open so wide (because the tooth was way in the back) that my jaw was KILLING me. LITERALLY. It hurt SOO bad. This time, the procedure is an HOUR LONG. A WHOLE FREAKING HOUR. Do you know how unbelieveably AWFUL that's going to be? I'm so scared... plus, people make really big deals out of root canals, and how awful they are... I'm REALLY nervous.
